It is one of the most popular festivals in Cebu city held every third Sunday of January to honor the Santo Nino (Child Jesus). Santo Nino is the oldest Christian artifact in the Philippines originally a gift from explorer Ferdinand Magellan tin 1521. Basically, the festival is done by a dance ritual, telling the story of the Filipino’s acceptance of Christianity. The festival includes various activities such as fancy costumes and dances,
art exhibitions, beauty pageants, photo contests, and singing and dancing contests. Participants may also join the festival’s activities, such as concerts, cultural shows, fireworks display, fun runs, and street fairs. Today, it turns to be the month-long tradition and tourists regarded it as unmissable festival.

Panagbenga Festival is a month-long annual flower festival held on 1st February in creative Baguio city, which drawing lot of local and world tourists. Panagbenga’s meaning is “the season of blooming” and its purpose is to give tribute to the city’s flowers and the dedication of locality. The festival includes floats that are covered mostly with stunning beauty of flowers creating a uniqueness float. It is often likened to the famous Rose Parade of Pasadena, California. For a whole month, Baguio City and its streets come vivid with magnificent rhythmic dances, exciting songs, and colorful floral decoration that will attractively draw attention of flower-lovers.

This longest-running aviation event in Asia originally begun in 1996, nowadays it is recognized as "the weekend of everything that flies" Aviators from all around the world lively come to the Philippines showing their masterpieces and sharing an unforgettable experience. The festival also provides
a numerous show, namely, skydiving, rocketry demonstrations, remote-control airplane and helicopters, freestyle aerobatics, kite-making, and many other interesting activities.
